Two Fort Lewis College students showcased their academic talents on the international stage at the 2025 MBAA International Conference in Chicago this April. Known for nearly half a century as a high-quality, high-value, multidisciplinary gathering, the MBAA International Conference brings together business scholars worldwide to share impactful research, effective teaching practices, and professional networking in a dynamic setting.
Amelia O’Toole, a Business Administration major with a concentration in international business, and Alyssa Brayer, an Engineering major with a minor in global business, successfully presented their research among leading academics. Highlighting their achievements, Amelia O’Toole earned the Best Student Presentation Award from the Business Society and Government Track for her data-driven research project.
Their mentor, Professor Kaori Takano, Ph.D., of the Katz School of Business, praised their hard work and accomplishments. "We are very proud of Amelia and Alyssa’s achievements at such a prestigious international conference," said Takano.
