FLC alumni and members of their immediate family are invited to embark on a fully guided 5-day river adventure with Fort Lewis on the Water (FLOW). Dr. Andrew Gulliford will provide context and insight to our trip through archaeological sites along the goosenecks.

Donate to Guided Trip on the Lower San Juan River

Alumni and members of their immediate family are invited to embark on a fully guided 5-day river adventure with Fort Lewis on the Water (FLOW). Dr. Andrew Gulliford will provide context and insight to our trip through archaeological sites along the goosenecks.

Our FLOW guides will prepare all the meals and rig the boats, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the sights and each other’s company. Space on this trip is extremely limited, so don’t wait to save your spot!

5- day San Juan River Mexican Hat to Clay Hills (full Itinerary and details will be sent out well in advance of the trip) - 57 river miles, 4 nights on the river

We will meet at 7 am at the FLOW Boathouse on the FLC campus on Wednesday, May 22nd, and return to Durango by 9pm on Sunday the 26th

What is included:

•On-water equipment

•Group camp equipment

•Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks

•Transportation

•FLOW Vehicle shuttles

•Trained professional guides

•2 craft brews a day

Small crafts such as inflatable kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and pack rafts are welcome on most FLOW programs. You are welcome to bring your own or request one from FLOW. Helmets are required for SUPs and all small craft on the river.
